SITE ANALYSIS

The PEFKA Town Center provides an impressive collection of restaurants, cafes, banks, retail shops. Strengthening the local economy, through the redesign of the pedestrian routes of Papanicolaou Avenue of the municipality of PEFKA (RETZIKI), is strategically situated to support surrounding residences, schools, retail shops, and the environment. Landscape-Roidis’s design of the pedestrian ways, the parking lots, the bus stops, the greenery, and circulation nodes, creates an immersive hub that cultivates social activity. Based on a need for flexibility and effortless transitions, the concept utilizes a continuous paving pattern to unify pedestrian pathways, allow the easy movement. Enough light is provided for the nighttime via the illumination design.
